Cellulite machines are a misnomer. These machines don’t produce cellulite. Who wants more cellulite? Nobody, that’s who. No these machines are more aptly called anti cellulite machines. Despite the rubbish spewed by those that only want to lighten your wallet, the anti cellulite machine can help with those ugly dimples caused by clumps of fat and water just under the skin. The accumulation of these unsightly areas on the buttocks and upper thighs is a major source of concern for most women. This concern is so great that it often opens the door for those that are unscrupulous and would take the money of those who are uneducated. Unless you are educated about the benefits of these anti cellulite machines, you could lose your money with no benefit to you. Caveat emptor or buyer beware in English.

How do they work?

When most people think about an anti cellulite machine, they think of the band. The band or other rotating device is placed around the hips and vibrates, rubs or oscillates the skin. The purpose of the band is not to erase the cellulite but to stimulate the skin to promote circulation. When the circulation is improved then the cellulite will eventually reduce or disappear. For the short term however, the results aren’t that effective because the fluids under the skin may just be relocated. The benefit of using the anti cellulite machine for long periods of time is that it may recondition the skin to reduce the ripples or dimples. The improved circulation flushes the lumps of fat and water from under the skin. But this only occurs over time. Getting all shook up for hours at a time won’t help make the cellulite reduction any faster. You won’t wake up the next morning with smoother thighs and buttocks.

The Best Anti Cellulite Machine.

Have you ever seen a runner with cellulite? How about a boxer? Athletes rarely display the “cottage cheese” effect of cellulite. That is because there muscles are toned and their metabolism is more effective at flushing waste fat and water just under the skin. I am not saying that athletes can’t get cellulite but it is not as likely if a person is in top shape fitness wise. The example of the athlete is used here to support the idea that the best anti cellulite machine isn’t the one that attacks just the main site of cellulite, but instead is one that is used to increase fitness. It may be a treadmill, a stationary bicycle, a rowing machine or any device used in a workout. If the muscles are toned, chances are the circulation will be good and if the circulation is good then the waste materials are more effectively dealt with by the body. So instead of standing in one spot and getting your tushy all shook up, move around, run, jump, swim. Do anything that increases your metabolism. When you work out think about each sweat droplet as a reduction in the dimples or ripples. Chances are, the better shape you are in, the less likely cellulite will be a problem for you.

It is our pleasure to share Cellulite Treatment Article by guest poster Laurel Tevolitz …

In the market for a new cellulite treatment? With an abudance of over-the-counter products, which include skin lotions, creams and gels, herbal remedies as well as devices such as heat and massage or lasers, how does one decide what avenue is the best cellulite treatment?

Most medical professionals do not understand the reasons cellulite forms, but it is similarly described by most as a gathering or expansion of normal fat cells surrounding the connective tissue that binds the skin and deeper lying layers of tissue. It can also be related to other reasons such as genetics, hormone changes, aging and poor diet. It never seems to appear similarly on women as we all seems to have differences in our bodies, muscle composition, tissues and how our body decides to distribute fat.

None of above general methods of treatments seem to be the ultimate cure to the problem, however, it’s realistic to say that several of these products have offered positive, noticeable improvements in appearance. Cellulite unfortunately is a fact for 90% of women worldwide. It is not selective to women who are only overweight, but does also plague women who are thin as well. Noone is immune it seems. It can be frustrating and embarrassing, but again while there is no cure, there is hope.

When deciding to select a new cellulite treatment, it is important to note that every individual is different and may have varying results. The treatments are ultimately subjective to the patient’s results and findings. Even the best cellulite treatment for one person, may do nothing for another. Also, most cellulite treatments should be incorporated as part of a greater program to battle this difficult problem. More than likely, regardless of which new cellulite treatment you choose, follow-up on a regular basis will be necessary to keep the benefits.

Some of the following advances in new cellulite treatment are:
Heat & Massage (such as VelaSmooth – infrared light and radio waves with roller technology) TriActive (low energy laser and mechanical massage) Endermologie (general rolling device) Mesotherapy (pharmaceutical/natural injections)

Other forms of cellulite treatment include:
Herbal Remedies Cellulite creams, lotions and gels Self massage techniques Clean diet (healthy, low-fat proteins, nutritious vegetables/fruits, good fats and lots of water) Exercise (including weight training and cardiovascular type activities)

The last two, diet and exercise are highly recommended while utilizing other types of treatment, to honestly make your program successful.

A new cellulite treatment can generally improve the overall appearance of cellulite. But in terms of the best cellulite treatment, the subjective results are ultimately up to the patient. It may take trial and error to find the appropriate treatment for your situation. The important point is to make sure that your new cellulite treatment encompasses all the necessary components to make it the best cellulite treatment for you.
